New Layout: Mr. Foglia

Spirit week is here...the school is switching places today. The kids are supposed to dress like their teachers and the teachers are supposed to dress like kids. Kay chose to dress like her guidance counselor and Liam chose to dress like his Social Studies teacher, Mr. Foglia.

Just having a little fun with the picts. I took yesterday. Liam loves Justin Timberlake's Suit and Tie song (the clean version, of course), so I took cues from that for my layout journaling. Liam is dressed like his social studies teacher, Mr. Foglia.

Simple Joys

Kaylie has been wanting a pink streak for a while now...I wasn't keen on the idea of permanent color, but I found a temporary one that did the trick. She was happy.

Sometimes joy can be derived from simple things, like getting a hot pink streak.

Hot Pink Streak

Kaylie has been hounding me since last year to let her dye her hair hot pink.  So we came to a compromise.  Temporary hair color does the trick and we are both happy.

Grandpa's Love

The Story of the Robin's Egg

On my way out of the dentist’s office, right before I turned onto the road, I spotted a blue egg on the driveway. I asked Liam to get out of the car, so that he could pick it up and return it to its nest. He looked at it closely and put it back down. He rushed into the car and burst into tears. The egg was broken and he could still see the dead chick inside. He was so sad.

Beautiful You

This is one of the photos that I took of Kay this past Tuesday before we headed out to her spring concert.  She looked so pretty in her polka dot dress.
I really wanted to use a damask paper and had to search high and low in my computer to find several that I liked.  I wanted a classy-looking page...not too colorful and not too embellished.
